GLI UCCELLI SI ACCONTENTANO DELLE BRICIOLE - THE BIRD ARE CONTENT WITH THE CRUMBS

Gli uccelli si accontentano delle briciole, come gli uomini che non si vergognano di mostrare i propri limiti e non si sottraggono alla propria umiltà.

Quasi un senso di pudore li spinge a non uscire se ci sono troppi riflettori che li vorrebbero illuminare.

Non illuminerebbero che ombre molteplici, che camminano a stento tra barlumi intermittenti.

Gli uomini nascondono dentro la vergogna di esistere e ne portano il peso ogni volta che per nutrirsi si cibano di altri esseri.

Ma ci sono uomini che si vantano di uccidere e con orgoglio mostrano come trofei parti di animali appese al muro delle loro case, come se avessero bisogno di dire che anche loro sono capaci a fare qualche cosa.

E altri che misurano la propria forza su altri più deboli e nel vincerli con facilità, provano soddisfazione.

Ce ne sono altri che pensano che il metro vada confrontato in base alle ricchezze ed alle cose che si possiedono e, siccome ne hanno molte, ritengono di essere felici.

Tutti costoro da bambini hanno preso gusto al gioco che prediligevano ed hanno continuato a farlo senza essersi educati a crescere insieme ai sentimenti, ma hanno accresciuto solo egoismo e bramosia, tralasciando gli altri.
