ANTEFATTO - BACKGROUND

Ho attraversato molte strade prima

Di giungere a questo punto, strade

Che portavano in luoghi diversi e

Che non m’interessava seguire.

Intravedevo appena il margine di un

Orizzonte mentre le attraversavo e il mio

Sguardo non poteva andare oltre.

Ora che sono qui, riprendo fiato

Per le mie membra stanche del lungo camminare

E rifocillo i miei pensieri con la riflessione,

Sperando di fare ordine nei miei passi

E capire se, tra le tante che ho attraversato,

Ho tralasciato la strada che avrei dovuto

Seguire per giungere infine al luogo che

Mi sono prefisso di raggiungere.

I went through several streets before
To reach this point, roads
Leading in different places and
What followed was not interested.
Could barely see the edge of a
Horizon while the crossing and my
Eyes could not go further.
Now that I'm here, I take breath
For my limbs tired of the long walk
It refreshed my thoughts with reflection,
Hoping to make order in my footsteps
And whether, among many others that I went through,
I left out the way I should
Follow to finally reach the place that
I set out to achieve.
